    Piehead is currently seeking a Requirements Analyst in the Philadelphia, PA area to support one of our fortune 500 clients in a ground-breaking enterprise-level project. The successful candidate will work onsite with Piehead User Experience team as well as interacting daily with the client’s business and IT personnel. The Requirements Analyst we seek is experienced and innovative, deeply knowledgeable about requirements best practices but able to adapt them to the needs of the client. We are looking for someone able to grasp the big picture and attend to detail, and who is tenacious about connecting with stakeholders and diligent about uncovering hidden needs. The person in this position serves as the conduit between business stakeholders and the software development team, ensuring a common understanding of the goals and constrains of the project.     Responsibilities:

    • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops
    • Develop process flows, use cases, business requirements and business rules
    • Work independently and resourcefully to gather input and feedback on requirements from stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization
    • Write requirements specifications according to industry standards, ensuring that requirement statements are clear, complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible and to an appropriate level of detail
    • Work with User Experience team to resolve issues, implement both user and business requirements and ensure that the deliverables of the disciplines complement one another
    • Represent requirements using alternative views, such as analysis models (diagrams), prototypes, or use case scenarios, where appropriate.

    Job Summary:

    You will provide suggested approaches, preliminary scoping and create deliverables optimally suited to the needs of the client and the team. You will also guide junior UXAs and collaborate with team members in other disciplines throughout the project lifecycle. This is a full-time or contract opportunity.

    Duties:

    • Plan and lead user experience activities on client projects
    • Create deliverables appropriate to the budget and maturity of the client
    • Promote user-centered design best practices to clients, internal and external team members
    • Represent the needs of the end user tempered by the goals of the business
    • Conduct usability tests, contextual inquiry, focus groups and other user research activities
    • Perform heuristic analyses, cognitive walk-throughs and other usability evaluations
    • Perform task analyses, card sorting, modeling of processes, taxonomy creation, content inventories, persona creation and competitive analyses
    • Assist with gathering and documenting business requirements as needed; understand the elements of a well-written requirement and the difference between user and business requirements
    • Develop innovative process flows, wireframes and prototypes with behavioral specifications

    Qualifications:

    • Detailed knowledge of user experience best practices and user-centered design
    • Expertise in a wide range of user research, usability testing and user experience methodologies
